One option is to stay in the lovely Queen Anne Neighborhood. Enjoy the buzz of Seattle while still maintaining your sanity in a less congested part of the city. Walking distance to Key Arena and Seattle Center (site of the world famous Space Needle and monorail) is a breeze. Also, in the same area is the Experience Music Project and Pacific Science Center. There is an abundance of restaurants and coffee shops in the area with the convenience of public transportation everywhere.

Choose from the elegant Marqueen Hotel or the trendy Maxwell Hotel. Built in 1918, the Marqueen is a historical treasure that will delight you with it's unique charm. Comfy beds, complimentary internet and an extensive list of guest services are provided; many complimentary. The Marqueen's ambience continues to impress with it's chandeliers and staircases, reminiscent of luxury and elegance. The Marqueen also enjoys pampering you with modern day amenities including an on-site spa. A few blocks away, is The Maxwell Hotel. An ultra modern property offering famous Pineapple Hospitality. An accurate description of the Maxwell would be a Boutique hotel with a big city vibe. Immaculately appointed rooms with free internet and a host of guest services are also provided. The Maxwell was voted as one of the 10 Trendiest Hotels in the United States (Traveler's Choice 2011) Another claim to this accolade is a program available in which guests can rent bicycles complimentary during their stay and explore the Emerald City the green way.

The Inn at Queen Anne is a perfect no-frills property, when clean, simple and friendly are all that you require during your stay in Seattle. A stones throw away from Key Arena, this property is a low-rise building with a lovely courtyard. Very near to it's sister property, the Marqueen Hotel, the Inn at Queen Anne is slightly more economical and a great back up property, should the city be scarce of hotel availability during your proposed visit.

Our downtown properties come in two styles and price points. Hotel Five, also a under the Pineapple Hospitality trademark, provides clean and comfortable lodging. Recently acquired from the Ramada Hotel chain, the Hotel 5 is in the process of emerging into it's own brand and style. Hotel 5 is the perfect place to stay if you prefer a downtown location without paying a downtown premium. A great choice for business travelers and visitors alike.

Our other downtown partner hotel is the famous Hotel Max. Beautifully decorated rooms which were definitely not designed with cookie-cutter creativity. No two floors and no two rooms are alike. Simple hallways are converted into virtual art galleries displaying the unique work of thirty-nine Northwest artists. Once you step into your bedroom, you will be rewarded with heavenly beds, a flat screen TV and access to high-speed internet. This property is a must for those visitors wanting to have downtown access at their doorstep, literally!

Just north of downtown Seattle, you will bypass the University District. Simply known as the U-District by locals, this vibrant neighborhood encircles the University of Washington. Young, innovative and savvy-best describes this neighborhood's residents. Dozens of funky coffee shops and snackeries line the "Ave" just waiting to pour a cup of java and provide a haven from those upcoming mid-terms. The U-District is about 8 minutes drive from downtown Seattle. A Weekend in Seattle works with two more Pineapple Hospitality properties located here. Literally neighbors, the University Inn and the Watertown are both located on Roosevelt Way. Free parking, a free shuttle service to downtown Seattle and free internet are drawing cards for guests staying in either one of these two spotless sister properties. The convenience of having the two properties in close proximity of each other is that you can utilize the services of both when your staying in one. For example, the University Inn has a wonderful swimming pool but no fitness center. However, the Watertown has a complete fitness center but no swimming pool.

If you are coming to Seattle for a sporting event at either the Century Link or Safeco Fields, the Pioneer Square Hotel is a perfect choice when location is everything. Nestled inside historic Pioneer Square, this property provides the perfect "headquarters" for your Seattle weekend. This property is a fully restored masterpiece dating back to the times when Pioneer Square was in it's full swing. Cobblestone streets and historic lamp posts conjure up images of the gold rush days. Located in the southern section of downtown Seattle, the Pioneer Square Hotel is also close to government buildings, dozens of bars and restaurants as well as the Amtrak station. From the moment you walk into this quaint property, the environment feels like home. Romanesque-Victorian style best describes the decor throughout the building. Individual rooms are impeccable and comfortable and guests are guaranteed a great night's rest after a busy day exploring the Emerald City.
